Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to testify before House about Trump conviction

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and prosecutor Matthew Colangelo will appear before the House Judiciary Committee for public testimony next month to discuss the case they brought against former President Donald Trump, a source familiar confirmed to the Washington Examiner.

The pair will testify on July 12 before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on Trump’s conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a 2016 hush money scheme. Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) has been investigating the two attorneys over the last several months over allegations the pair had revived the criminal case against Trump to sink his reelection bid.
