New York City officials are holding a press conference on Wednesday, after police entered Columbia University on Tuesday night to break up anti-Israel protests.
The NYPD was given approval to enter the campus after protests took over a building on campus, after weeks of protests that university officials say have threatened and intimidated Jewish students. The protesters have demanded the university divest from Israel.

Columbia University is one of several college campuses that has had anti-Israel protests in recent weeks. Protests on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles, got fiery overnight leading to police having to intervene.
