Casey and McCormick seal victories to launch Pennsylvania Senate showdown

Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) and Republican challenger David McCormick are set to face off against each other in November for a seat that will help determine which party retains control of the Senate.

Both Pennsylvania candidates easily won their primary races on Tuesday, as neither candidate had any competitors running against them. The Associated Press called the races for both primaries at 8:01 p.m.
