Mike Tyson explains he is facing his fear in fight with Jake Paul

Iconic heavyweight champion Mike Tyson admitted on Tuesday that he is somewhat afraid of his fight with boxer Jake Paul, which is scheduled for July 20.

The match will be his first since November 2020, when Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a draw after eight rounds. Tyson, 57, explained he has a “weird” personality, in which whatever he is afraid to do, he seeks to accomplish, hence the fight with Paul.

“I was afraid for the Roy fight, I was scared of fighting, I was a hundred pounds overweight, I was however old, 54, 53, and I said, ‘Let’s do it,’” Tyson said on Fox News’s Hannity. “Anything I’m afraid of, I confront it, and that’s my personality.
