Tim Scott knocks Democrats over election interference amid Trump civil fraud trial

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) spoke out against the New York appeals court decision on Monday that saw former President Donald Trump‘s civil fraud judgement reduced to $175 million.

The decision granted the former president a 10-day delay for him to pay his bond, which had previously been worth $464 million. In reacting to this new ruling, Scott argued that it was “disgusting” that a person would have to pay $175 million, even though “there’s no victim because there was no crime.”
