X owner Elon Musk confirmed that Don Lemon will still make money from broadcasting his show on the platform.
Musk issued a response to Lemon’s Friday appearance on The View, when the former CNN host discussed the now-defunct deal with the social media platform. While the “show was always going to goĀ everywhere” according to Lemon, X previously had some exclusive rights to specific time segments.
This deal was originally with Range Media Partners, which works with other shows, including those hosted by former Fox Sports host Jim Rome and former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard. Lemon’s show will also be streamed on YouTube and other podcast platforms.
