NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers and former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura are on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s short list to run alongside him on his independent presidential ticket.
Both candidates began their careers as celebrities, with Rodgers serving as quarterback for the New York Jets and Ventura having started as a professional wrestler and actor before being elected as governor of Minnesota as a member of the Reform Party. There are other names that Kennedy is considering as well, a Kennedy campaign spokeswoman told the Washington Examiner.

Kennedy told the New York Times that he had been speaking “pretty continuously” with Rodgers over the past month and with Ventura since the former wrestler introduced him at a campaign event last month in Arizona.
