Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) hinted she may not obey House Speaker Mike Johnson‘s (R-LA) pleas to not heckle President Joe Biden during his State of the Union address on Thursday.
Greene, who called Biden a “liar” during his address before Congress in 2023, told Fox News on Thursday it is “completely appropriate” to call out Biden while citing critiques she has of Biden’s handling of various matters.
“Here’s what’s inappropriate: $34 trillion in debt. You know what else is inappropriate? Laken Riley was murdered,” Greene told the outlet, citing Riley’s death allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant.
