Round one of March’s three Social Security payments, worth up to $4,873 for the highest income earners who retire at 70, will go out to the first group of retirees in 12 days.
Retirees born on or between the 1st and 10th of the month should receive their payments on March 13, according to the Social Security Administration’s calendar.
People born on or after the 11th of the month will receive their payments in one of two later disbursements, on either March 20 or March 27. Each recipient just gets one paycheck, but the week that they get the money is determined by the day of the month they were born.
