Key witness in Fani Willis trial ordered to return to stand after closed-door meeting with judge

A judge ordered Nathan Wade’s former law partner and divorce attorney Terrence Bradley to retake the stand to testify about the relationship between Wade and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.  

Bradley originally tried to remove himself from testifying any knowledge of the relationship based on claims of attorney-client privilege. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, who is overseeing this case, determined that some of Wade’s communications did not cover him under attorney-client privilege after a closed-door meeting on Monday.

“The Court believes that the interested parties did not meet their burden of establishing that the communication(s) are covered by attorney-client privilege and therefore the hearing can resume as to Mr. Bradley’s examination,” an email from McAfee said, according to CNN.

Bradley is expected to testify in the emergency hearing at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
