Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) rejected the notion that House Republicans support Russia in its war with Ukraine, arguing her party is instead “pro-America.”
The South Carolina congresswoman’s assessment comes as some have accused House Republicans of withholding financial aid for Ukraine, which has been at war with Russia since late February 2022. Mace argued that Congress has already sent over $100 billion to Ukraine and claimed that the Democratic Party is accusing its opposing party members of failing to help Ukraine without addressing its own failures.
