Food stamps: February payments to Maryland residents worth up to $1,751 end in three days

Maryland will send its last Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program payments for the month of January to low-income residents Friday.

Food stamps will be distributed in the Old Line State until Friday. SNAP payments are issued to qualified residents from Jan. 4 to Jan. 23, with a recipient’s specific date depending on the first three letters of a household’s last name.

Those with last names beginning with AAA through STC should have collected their payments by Tuesday. Recipients with last names STD through TRA should collect their benefits on Wednesday, recipients with last names TRB through WES should collect on Thursday, and recipients with last names WET through ZZZ will collect on Friday.
