Kansas City shooting: Two juveniles charged in connection to parade attack that killed one and injured 21

Two minors have been charged in connection to the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’s Super Bowl Championship rally on Wednesday that killed one and injured more than 20.

The juveniles, who have not been identified, were handed gun-related and resisting arrest charges on Thursday by the Office of the Juvenile Officer, according to the Circuit Court of Jackson County’s family division. The suspects are being held at a juvenile detention center.

“It is anticipated that additional charges are expected in the future as the investigation by the Kansas City Police Department continues,” the court said in a news release.
