Disneyland employee dies after fall from golf cart

A Disneyland employee died on Friday after falling off of a golf cart at the theme park a couple of days earlier.

Local police and fire and rescue personnel responded to a collision at the park on Wednesday, in which an employee fell off a moving golf cart and hit her head backstage. Anaheim, California, police Sgt. Jon McClintock told the Washington Examiner that the employee was then taken to a local hospital in serious condition and that she died two days later.

McClintock added that while the collision is under investigation, it appears to have been “a tragic accident.”
