Tom Cotton cites Biden’s handling of foreign affairs for lack of global peace

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) argued that President Joe Biden has had a weak presence across the world, and that he has contributed to the various wars that have broken out since he took office in 2021. 

Cotton criticized Biden’s handling of the war in Ukraine, arguing the president spent more than two years not providing the weapons the country needed to fight off Russia. Biden recently apologized to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the delay in U.S. aid to Ukraine, blaming resistance from Republican lawmakers for uncertainty if this aid would be delivered; Cotton rebuked Biden’s blame, arguing the president only has himself to blame.
