New York hush money trial is ‘weakest’ case Trump faces: Sarah Bedford

The Washington Examiner’s Sarah Bedford suggested former President and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s hush money trial in New York will likely have “the least impact” of all the criminal trials he faces.

While appearing on Your World with Neil Cavuto, Bedford noted that while the hush money trial is the “weakest” case against him, a conviction could sway voters in swing states ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

“There are polls, Neil, that show that some voters who have said that they currently plan to vote for Donald Trump might change their vote if he’s convicted of a felony. That’s what’s at stake in this case,” Bedford said. “Alvin Bragg, who is an elected Democrat, has structured the case so misdemeanor charges could be bumped up to felonies here. That could sway
