Former president Donald Trump’s campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt alleged that President Joe Biden “emboldened” Iran by reversing his predecessor’s sanctions previously over the country.
Leavitt appeared on Fox and Friends Sunday hours after the United States intercepted drones launched by Iran and headed for Israel. These drones were launched hours after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commandos boarded an Israeli-affiliated container ship as well. Biden initially intended to spend the weekend in Delaware but returned to the White House earlier Saturday to discuss the growing tensions in the region with his national security team.
