Trump wields endorsement to try and remove one of two pro-impeachment Republicans left in the House

Former President Donald Trump wielded his endorsement in a Washington House race on Friday to try and remove one of the two Republicans left who tried to impeach him in 2021.

Trump threw his support behind former NASCAR driver and Navy veteran Jerrod Sessler for the House seat currently occupied by Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), blasting Newhouse as a “weak and pathetic RINO.”

“Jerrod Sessler is a fantastic candidate and will be a GREAT Congressman for Washington State’s 4th Congressional District,” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social. “A Navy Veteran, Entrepreneur, Loving Father and Husband, Jerrod will fight hard every day to secure the Border, stand for the Rule of Law, strengthen our Military, take care of our Vets, Defend our Nation, and protect our always under siege
