Senator Rand Paul visits Philadelphia suburbs to discuss COVID and politics

On Thursday night, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) participated in a “Politics and Pints” conversation at a community college in the Philadelphia suburbs. Paul was the guest of Dom Giordano, a radio talk show host on Philadelphia’s WPHT 1210 am.

Speaking to a standing-room-only crowd at Zlock Performing Arts Center at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pa., Kentucky’s junior senator took questions from Giordano as the two sat in two chairs on a stage. They touched on many political topics, including the COVID pandemic, masks, vaccines, congressional hearings with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Ukraine, government spending, the COVID investigation, and TikTok. Paul also briefly discussed the upcoming presidential election.

During the conversation, Paul mentioned two government officials with local ties: former Pennsylvania Secretary of Health (and current Assistant Secretary for Health and Admiral of the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps) Rachel Levine and Senator John Fetterman (D-PA).
