Riley Gaines spoke out against the recent veto Gov. Tony Evers (D-WI) made against legislation on transgender athletes in school sports, encouraging state residents to contact their local lawmakers to override his veto.
The veto by Evers was on a bill that would have required transgender students not conforming to a specific gender to play on teams that match their assigned gender at birth. The Outkick host posted on X that in vetoing this bill, Evers does not represent the values of his own state.
