DeSantis questions ‘who’s running the presidency’ after Biden denies making declaration on Easter

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) questioned who was in charge of the presidency after President Joe Biden denied declaring Easter Sunday the Transgender Day of Visibility.

In an appearance on the Greater Miami Expressway Agency, DeSantis interpreted Biden’s denial as indicating he wasn’t actually in charge of the presidency — a common accusation leveled against the 81-year-old by Republicans.

“Wait a minute, he said that didn’t happen. He said he didn’t do that,” DeSantis said. “Which raises the question that he’s either not being honest with the public, or he really didn’t know what was going on.”
