RFK Jr. campaign claims it has enough signatures for ballot access in North Carolina

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s campaign claims it has the required number of signatures necessary to appear on the ballot in North Carolina in November.

Kennedy’s campaign claims it has gathered more than 23,000 signatures and thus has qualified for the North Carolina ballot through its We the People political party. Kennedy has also gathered enough signatures to make the ballot in New Hampshire, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii.

“We have the field teams, volunteers, legal teams, paid circulators, supporters, and strategists ready to get the job done,” Kennedy campaign press secretary Stefanie Spear said in a statement on Monday.

For Kennedy to appear on the ballot in North Carolina, he will have to get roughly 13,865 signatures — equal to 0.25% of the number of people who voted in the most recent gubernatorial election — to get
