The worse the humanitarian crisis in Gaza gets, the harder it will be to repair relations among Democrats, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) has warned.
The House Democrat’s message comes as the United States is sending a new round of bombs to Israel in its military campaign to defeat Hamas, according to NBC News. President Joe Biden has demanded the need for a ceasefire in Gaza in order for more aid to reach Palestinians, but the president’s critics see his military support of Israel as directly contradicting those declarations.
