There are only four more days until April’s monthly Supplemental Security Income payment, which is worth up to $943 for individual filers, goes out to millions of beneficiaries.
The installment goes out on Monday, April 1, to people who struggle with a severely debilitating disability that results in a limited income, according to the Social Security Administration.
The maximum amount each filer can get depends on the category under which they applied for the payment. People who live with SSI recipients to provide them with necessary care qualify for a smaller monthly disbursement as an “essential person.”
