The White House indirectly condemned the Republican National Committee for reportedly asking prospective employees whether they consider the 2020 election to have been stolen.
As a point of comparison, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said President Joe Biden stood with the rule of law.
Biden “believes in the need to respect the officers who put their lives at risk on that day and to keep everyone safe,” according to Jean-Pierre.
“We saw what happened on Jan. 6. Some of you covered that,” she told reporters Wednesday. “Our democracy was under attack. We lost lives.”
