Protesters arrested outside Supreme Court as justices weigh future of abortion pill

Several protesters have been arrested outside the Supreme Court, as justices are scheduled to hear arguments in a case over the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of the abortion pill mifepristone.

A group of 13 people were arrested after reportedly blocking a roadway and receiving a warning from U.S. Capitol Police, according to ABC News.

The group “has been moving around Capitol Grounds – illegally blocking roads and then a walkway. Our officers warned the group to stop blocking the walkway or they would be arrested. They refused, so our officers arrested them,” Capitol Police told the outlet.
