Kansas City Chiefs player says he wore anti-abortion tie at White House to protest Biden

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker said he chose to wear a tie with an anti-abortion message during a visit to the White House to “represent the unborn.”

Butker’s visit to the White House was made last June after the Chiefs won the 2024 Super Bowl, during which he wore a tie with the Latin phrase “Vulnerari Praesidio,” translating to “protect the most vulnerable.” Ahead of the visit, the Chiefs player explained that he thought the White House was “an amazing place” but found it unfortunate that the Capitol was passing laws that do not “value all human life.”
