Border crisis politics get messy for Trump and Biden in Wisconsin

Voters from the swing state of Wisconsin are pointing the finger at Republicans and former President Donald Trump for the crisis at the border, according to a recently conducted focus group. 

President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address last week didn’t give him the boost he needed in the polls after hitting an all-time low in his favorability among voters at the end of last year. However, conversations from an Engagious/Sago focus group reported by Axios suggest the president’s comments on immigration and the border successfully riled Democrats and independents to put the blame on Republicans for the failed border bill.
