Trump in driver’s seat, pulling away from Biden

The fall presidential election is Donald Trump’s to lose.

A day after winning enough delegates to secure the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, the former president has taken the lead in several polls and expanded his winning gap over all the leading Democrats.

What’s more, voters appear to be warming to his return while further rejecting President Joe Biden.

A new Suffolk/USA Today survey showed that voters approved of Trump’s presidency more than they do of Biden’s. Just 41% approve of the job Biden is doing, while 49% approve of the way Trump handled his job in the Oval Office.
