Donald Trump wins North Dakota Republican presidential caucuses

Former President Donald Trump has won the North Dakota presidential caucuses, sending him closer to the Republican nomination.

Trump won the state handily, according to the Associated Press, which called the race around 9:20 EST. The number of delegates won has not yet been announced, but should Trump win them all, his total would rise to 276 nationwide, compared to former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s 43 delegates.

Sites were open from 6-9 p.m. Trump, Haley, and long-shot candidates Ryan Binkley, who recently reportedly ended his campaign, and David Stuckenberg were all on the ballot.
