The White House refused to comment on a news report that President Joe Biden‘s aides are curating his schedule to avoid anti-Israel protests.
“NBC is reporting that the president’s aides are working to minimize disruptions from pro-Palestinian protests,” the Washington Examiner asked during Friday’s White House press briefing, “making events smaller and withholding their locations until he arrives. Do you have any reaction to that?”
Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre did not.
“I have not seen that report,” she said. “I would just refer you to Secret Service on that one.”
The news outlet reported that Biden’s handlers are taking extraordinary steps to avoid disruptions from pro-Palestinian protesters, which have followed him and caused frequent disruptions at his events since the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks launched the conflict in Gaza.
