Food stamps: February payments to Georgia residents worth up to $1,751 end in two days

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will send out its final direct payments for the month of February to Georgia families over the next two days.

Food stamps are sent out from Feb. 5-23 in the Peach State. SNAP payments will be issued to beneficiaries depending on the last two digits of their client ID numbers.

Beneficiary IDs ending in 00 through 89 should have collected SNAP benefits by Wednesday, and those with IDs 90 through 99 will collect on Friday.

The maximum payment that a household of one can receive is $291, while a household of five can get up to $1,155, and a household of eight can get up to $1,751. For each household member after eight, $219 is added.
