Food stamps: February payments to Georgia residents worth up to $1,751 end in three days

Georgia families who receive assistance from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will see their final direct payments for the month of February over the next three days.

Food stamps are sent out from Feb. 5-23 in the Peach State. SNAP payments will be issued to beneficiaries’ accounts on days depending on the last two digits of their client ID numbers.

Beneficiary IDs ending in 00 through 79 should have collected benefits by Monday. Those with IDs ending in 80 through 89 will collect on Wednesday, and those with IDs 90 through 99 will collect on Friday.

The maximum payment that a household of one can receive is $291, while a household of five can get up to $1,155, and a household of eight can get up to $1,751. For each household member after eight, $219 is added.
