Two police officers killed responding to call in Minnesota

Two police officers and a firefighter were killed while responding to a call in a Minneapolis suburb on Sunday, according to officials.

Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) said the officers and the firefighter were responding to a “family in danger” in Burnsville, Minnesota, when they were killed, and other officers were injured.

We must never take for granted the bravery and sacrifices our police officers and first responders make every day. My heart is with their families today and the entire State of Minnesota stands with Burnsville.
