House explodes in Loudoun County, Virginia

Several fire crews were on scene after a house exploded in Loudoun County, Virginia, on Friday evening. 

Firefighters responded to the fire in the 300 block of Silver Ridge Drive in Sterling. News4 was on the scene and reported that Loudoun County Fire and Rescue received a call about natural gas at around 7:40 p.m., and the explosion occurred at about 8:30 p.m. News4 reported that a firefighter was trapped in the basement.

Videos from the media show a significant emergency response present at the scene of the house, which appears to be leveled.
