Food stamps: Georgia SNAP payments for February worth up to $1,751 to end in seven days

Georgia families and individuals who receive assistance from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will see their final direct payments for the month of February in seven days.

Food stamps are sent out from Feb. 5 through Feb. 23 in the Peach State. SNAP payments will be issued to beneficiaries’ accounts on days depending on the last two digits of their client ID numbers. For example, beneficiary IDs ending in 90-99 will receive their benefits on Feb. 23.

The specific payout depends on variables such as assets, household size, and income. The maximum payment that a household of one can receive is $291, while a household of five can get up to $1,155, and $1,751 is the maximum payment for a household of eight. For each household member after eight, $219 is added.
