MSNBC analyst blasts Fani Willis’s credibility: ‘Case is dead in the water’

A legal analyst appearing on MSNBC argued that special prosecutor Nathan Wade’s testimony on Thursday seriously hurt the credibility of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, putting the case against former President Donald Trump in jeopardy.

Wade’s testimony revealed that he and Willis, who were romantically involved with each other, were not being truthful in legal documents, which has created additional scrutiny over her ability to work truthfully in the court of law. Caroline Polisi, a federal and white-collar defense attorney, stated Thursday that Willis’s credibility being “shot” is the biggest takeaway from Wade’s “bombshell” testimony, especially regarding her work in the case against Trump.

“If she lied to the court — she submitted something to the court that she knew was false and inaccurate — what else was she lying about?” Polisi asked.
