The premise mirrors previous Pokopia events: players will help Sableye gather resources in exchange for exclusive rewards. After encountering the gem-loving creature outside a rebuilt Pokémon Center, players will venture into Dream Islands to collect Red Crystal Fragments, which requires enlisting Drifloon's assistance. Those who completed the earlier Hoppip event will recognize the structure and reward system.
The event announcement comes as no surprise to the Pokopia community. Players with access to the game's time travel feature have already experienced the event ahead of its official launch, allowing them to scout what's coming. The same mechanic lets players revisit past events, so anyone who missed the Hoppip event can still catch up.
Currently running is the Bulbasaur Jump Rope event, which concludes April 27. Jumping in before the deadline nets players an exclusive trophy item. Once that wraps, Sableye's quest becomes the main attraction.
