Mike Johnson to lead investigation into ‘political retribution’ in courts

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) promised one House committee will investigate Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg this month.

Johnson appeared on Fox News Sunday less than two weeks before the House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government will hear testimony from Bragg. This hearing, slated for June 13, comes on the heels of Bragg winning his criminal case against former President Donald Trump, who was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records.
