Washington Examiner’s Salena Zito says Biden administration should avoid using TikTok for environmental policy

The Washington Examiner’s Salena Zito said Monday that the Biden administration should not be looking to TikTok for advice on what to do regarding the environment, including its decision to pause liquefied natural gas exports.

President Joe Biden has received pushback over his recent decision to pause exporting LNG, with some reporters stating the decision stemmed from a push among younger United States residents on TikTok. Zito referenced a statement by Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) that those who get their political news from TikTok “probably should rethink” how it gets information from voters.
