Kellyanne Conway proposes a person of color as Trump’s running mate to help ‘lead an America First movement’

Kellyanne Conway, who served as a White House adviser to former President Donald Trump, suggested the Republican front-runner pick a person of color as his running mate.

In a New York Times op-ed published Monday, Conway rejected popular calls to pick a woman as his vice president, urging Trump not to play into identity politics. Instead, Conway listed Sens. Tim Scott (R-SC), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and others as options to join his 2024 ticket.
