The state will send out checks on Feb. 15 to eligible Alaskans who have the “Eligible-Not Paid” status by Feb. 7 and have not received his or her check for 2023 or earlier.
Eligible residents in Alaska can apply for the 2024 Permanent Fund Dividend from now until March 31. Applications for the program may be filled out either online or by paper form.
To be eligible for a payment from the fund, an Alaskan applying must intend to remain a resident indefinitely and may not be a convicted felon, among other requirements.
The Permanent Fund Dividend gives eligible residents a check each year based on Alaska’s mineral revenues for that year, according to the state.
