Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND) announced on Monday that he will not seek a third term in the governor’s residence in the Peace Garden State.
Burgum, who ended his unsuccessful Republican presidential campaign last month, said he and his wife Kathryn were “eternally grateful” for being elected twice to be governor and first lady of North Dakota, respectively, in a statement released on Monday morning.
