The rebates are to homeowners or renters in the Keystone State who are 65 and older, at least 50 years old and have a dead spouse, or an adult with a disability, according to the state. To qualify, an applicant must make $45,000 or less annually, with the income requirements tied to the cost of living.
Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) announced on Tuesday that applications had opened for the 2024 rebate and touted enhancements to the rebates agreed to through legislation passed last year.
“The Property Tax/Rent Rebate program has long been a lifeline for our seniors — especially those on a fixed income — and that’s why my Administration brought together folks on
