Food stamps: New Mexico SNAP payments worth up to $1,751 for January to wrap up in three days

New Mexico residents who receive food stamps from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will be sent their benefits for January in three days if they have not already.

All SNAP benefits for New Mexicans will be sent by Saturday. Payments are issued on the 1st of the month and end on the 20th. The day the food stamps are sent is based on the last two digits of a recipient’s Social Security number.

Recipients with a Social Security number ending in 18, 38, 58, 78, or 98 should have collected their SNAP benefits on Monday. Recipients with a number ending in 08, 28, 48, 68, or 88 should have collected their benefits on Tuesday, and those ending in 19, 39, 59, 79, and 99 will collect on Wednesday.
