Food stamps: New Mexico SNAP payments worth up to $1,751 for January to wrap up in four days

All New Mexico residents who collect food stamps from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will be issued payments for the month of January in four days.

All SNAP benefits for New Mexicans will be sent out by Saturday. Payments are issued on the 1st of the month and end on the 20th. The day that the food stamps are sent out is based on the last two digits of a recipient’s Social Security number.

Recipients with a Social Security number ending in 18, 38, 58, 78, or 98 should have collected their SNAP benefits on Monday. Recipients with a number ending in 08, 28, 48, 68, or 88 should have collected their benefits on Tuesday. Households with a Social Security number ending in 00, 20, 40, 60, or 80 will collect their benefits on the 20th of the month.
