Stimulus update: Direct payment from Alaska fund worth $1,312 to be sent in three days

In three days, the Alaska Department of Revenue will send payments from the state’s 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend to those who have yet to receive one and are eligible.

Alaskans who had the “Eligible-Not Paid” status by Jan. 10 and have not received their 2023 or earlier PFD payment will get their payment on Thursday. The program began sending its 2023 payments to eligible residents in October.

The state is accepting applications for the 2024 Permanent Fund Dividend until March 31 from eligible residents. To apply for the program, Alaskans may fill out an application online or via paper form.

To be eligible for the program, which offers residents an annual payment based on Alaska’s mineral revenues for that year, an applicant must intend to remain a resident of Alaska indefinitely and not be a convicted felon, among other requirements.
