SNAP benefits are sent out to Arizona residents from Jan. 1 to Jan. 13. Food stamps will arrive to eligible households based on the first letter of the last name associated with the SNAP account.
Individuals or families who become eligible for SNAP benefits after their birth year’s section has passed or after Jan. 13 will still collect payments for January and will not need to wait until February.
Last names starting with A through V should have collected benefits by Thursday. Last names beginning with W or X should receive payments on Friday, and those with last names beginning with Y and Z should collect payments on Saturday.
