The White House drug czar sounded the alarm Wednesday over “tranq,” a veterinary drug that is fueling horrific ulcers, amputations and deaths in opioid users, and urged Congress to “stop playing politics” and to help tackle the overdose crisis by permanently banning fentanyl.
