Pentagon moves to beef up cybersecurity

The Department of Defense will move to a so-called zero-trust cybersecurity model by 2027, adding several tools and methods already being embraced by many companies.

The DOD’s recent announcement follows a White House Office of Management and Budget memo released in January requiring agencies to meet zero-trust-related cybersecurity objectives by the end of 2024.
